This outdoor climbing wall stands in the Sportpark Laakirchen, next to the tennis courts and the outdoor swimming pool on Obertshausener Straße. The local Naturfreunde group (Laakirchen-Steyrermühl) and the Alpenverein look after it. It has about 200 m² of climbing up to 12 metres high, with around 35 routes from UIAA 3 to 9 that are set up for lead climbing. The wall faces north-west, so it's pleasant to climb even on hot summer days.
The wall is open to everyone at any time, with only limited use in winter. The two clubs run climbing courses for children and adults, including Kletterschein courses, and have equipment to hire.
