Hendon Leisure Centre on Marble Drive, a short walk from Brent Cross station, is run by Better (GLL) for Barnet Council. Its climbing wall sits alongside the sports hall, and Better describes the centre as catering for adult beginners with a full junior programme.
The wall can also be booked for climbing parties of up to 20.
Climbing is paid per session rather than as open drop-in climbing, so check the timetable and book before you go. The centre also has a gym, studios, a gymnastics hall, trampolines and soft play, plus a pay car park.
As we last found them. Prices change, so check the wall's website before you go.

- Junior Rock Climbing (ages 7-15): £13.50
- Climbing Pebbles (ages 4-6): £11.50
