Cara Bloc is a bouldering gym in a former church in downtown Victoriaville. It was the Victoriaville branch of Campus Escalade and became Cara Bloc in 2025. Campus now calls it a separate business with close ties, and Cara Bloc members can climb free at Campus Escalade in Trois-Rivières once a month.
The church's 35 ft ceiling and stained-glass windows give the walls plenty of light. The signature PsicoBLOC is a tall rope-free wall, which the gym describes as 45 ft and unique in North America, where climbers fall onto a sloping mat. Family routes start from age 4, and the PetitBLOC section is reserved for children aged 10 and under. On a first visit, everyone fills in an online waiver (a parent or guardian signs for under-18s) and gets a short safety tour, and there's a bistro for relaxing afterwards.
The gym also runs CaraVOIE, a separate roped-climbing offer with its own timetable that closes for the summer, and hosts school groups, children's parties and team-building events.

“A really cool climbing gym. Worth visiting for the ambiance alone, but the setup is also one of the best I’ve been to. Staff was also super friendly and accommodating when I couldn’t speak French…”
“A nice bouldering gym in an old church. They have a long and steep inclined wall that's pretty challenging. Overall a pretty fun place to climb.”
