Gaular IL's bouldering wall in Bygstadhallen, part of the municipal sports park in Bygstad. It's open to everyone on Tuesday evenings for a small drop-in fee and can be hired by the hour at other times.

Gaular IL, the sports club based in Bygstad, has a bouldering wall in Bygstadhallen, part of Bygstad Idretts- og fritidspark, Sunnfjord municipality's sports park with an artificial pitch, a running track and a gymnastics pit. The municipality's photo shows a wall of angled panels above thick matting along one side of the hall.

Visiting

  • The wall is open to everyone on Tuesdays from 18:00 to 19:30, with a drop-in fee of NOK 20, or NOK 40 for a family.
  • For more information, join the 'Bygstad buldrevegg' subgroup under climbing in the club's Hoopit app.
  • At other times the wall must be booked in advance through Sunnfjord kommune's Aktiv kommune booking system, at NOK 177 an hour or NOK 2,000 a day. Use the main entrance and change out of outdoor shoes in the foyer.

Gaular IL also has a roped climbing wall in Gaularhallen at Sande, which you book by e-mailing the club.
