Boulder, which goes by Boulder.one online, is a bouldering hall on the Persilstraat in Herent, next to Leuven and an easy bike ride from the city centre. There are no ropes here: the walls range from vertical faces to steep overhangs above thick matting, and climbing shoes can be hired at the desk. Since November 2025 only liquid chalk has been allowed, to keep the air cleaner, so leave loose chalk and chalk balls at home. A bar sits alongside the walls.
The hall's club, Boulder Klimclub Herent, is a member of the Flemish climbing federation (KBF) and runs weekly youth training in blocks through the school year. The Boulder Bananas, for children from the second year of primary school, train on Saturday mornings or Wednesday afternoons, and the Boulder Monkeys, for secondary-school pupils, on Saturdays and on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
The hall also has a speleobox, a set of dark crawling tunnels that feels like a cave. It can be booked on its own or added to a bouldering session, and it suits children's parties, sports days and afternoons out with children. Birthday parties can be booked too.

“5/5 really great vibe, they change up the routes often, always something new to do, and routes are intelligent (current setters big ups!)”
