Boulderhalle Bludenz is the bouldering room in the Alpenverein Vorarlberg's head office on Untersteinstraße in Bludenz, and it's open to members and non-members alike. Its walls and holds were made by Art Rock of Jenbach, with angled pillars, overhangs and volumes above a matted floor, and large windows onto the street.
Single entries are sold only during office hours, from 08:00 to 15:00 on Monday to Thursday. With a chip, which carries a 10-visit or annual card and needs a €15 deposit, you can let yourself in every day from 06:00 to 22:00; chips are issued at the office during the same hours. Alpenverein members pay less, and anyone can buy a chip card. Children under 15 may not boulder without supervision, and school classes and kindergartens should book ahead. Only liquid chalk is allowed, and the lockers are for use while you climb. Rental gear is available, and children's birthday parties can be held here.
