Boulderama, on Raiffeisenstraße in Klagenfurt, is Carinthia's largest bouldering hall and the Alpenverein Klagenfurt's partner hall. It has about 2,000 m² of floor space and some 2,500 m² of climbing surface. The bouldering area covers 1,325 m², with around 160 problems from Font 3 to 8b, new problems every week and a 26.5-metre competition wall with room for up to 600 spectators. The roped hall adds 1,150 m² of walls from 10 to 17.5 metres high, including a 12-metre roof, with about 140 routes from grade 3 to 8c+ that change every fortnight, 60 rope lines, four auto-belays, a separate beginners' area and course wall, and a standard speed route with timing.
The training room has a spray wall, a 40-degree MoonBoard and a 12×12 Tension Board that tilts from 25 to 70 degrees, and there's an air-conditioned strength room. The hall has dust extraction, a café serving mostly regional food, a separate course room and a 110 m² multi-purpose room that can be booked for yoga, workshops and meetings. Shoes, chalk bags, harnesses, ropes, belay devices and belay glasses are for hire, and climbing shoes can be resoled. Courses run from parent-and-child sessions and groups for children from four to adult beginners' courses, training teams, advanced bouldering, a rope-technique refresher, a workshop on fear of falling, and days out bouldering and climbing on rock. Boulderama celebrated its tenth anniversary in October 2026.

“The lead walls are great, have different settings and have autobelay as well. I think the route settings are a bit harder than the grades in this gym specifically.”
“Great place all in all, but why are you guys charging a full entry fee while changing routes? At least a third of the gym is unusable and it’s so loud it’s like climbing at a construction site”
