The Atoll Achensee is a leisure centre on the shore of Lake Achensee at Maurach, with an indoor pool, a sauna area, a fitness studio, a lido and a restaurant. Its bouldering hall has about 180 m² of climbing on walls 4 metres high, set with around 1,400 holds and more than 45 problems, from very easy ones for young children to very hard ones, all above thick landing mats.
Day tickets, 11-visit blocks and half-year cards are sold at reception, and tickets can also be bought in the Atoll's online shop. Climbing shoes can be hired at reception, and only liquid chalk may be used, which reception also sells. Children up to 13 must climb with a responsible adult, and 14- to 17-year-olds can climb on their own with written consent from a parent.
The hall is open every day from 09:00 to 22:00. The whole Atoll closes for its annual maintenance from 12 to 23 April 2027.
