Hereford, England, United Kingdom
The Boulder Barn is an indoor bouldering centre on Holmer Trading Estate, on the north side of Hereford. It is run by Taste for Adventure, a registered charity founded in 1991 by the mountaineer J H "Brummie" Stokes and his wife Lynn, which moved here from its old residential centre at Credenhill and opened the Barn in 2018. Profits from the wall go back into the charity's adventure work with disadvantaged young people.
The centre is bouldering only, so no ropes are needed, with angular walls and overhangs set with problems from beginner level up to hard lines for experienced climbers.
