Bloc10 Aberdeen is the second centre from Bloc10 Bouldering, a family-run, independent bouldering business set up by a husband and wife team who opened walls in the two cities they were born in. The first, in Dundee, opened in January 2022; the Aberdeen centre followed in May 2025 in a unit on Holland Street, a short way north of the city centre.
The centre has 550 square metres of bouldering wall, 4.5 metres high, with problems for beginners through to strong climbers, plus:
There's no need to book: pay at the door, and first-timers get a short induction. Sessions aren't timed. Weekdays between 10am and 4pm are the quietest; evenings and weekends are busy. Children under 14 must be accompanied, and as there's no kids' circuit the problems suit ages 6 and up. There's free parking in the marked B10 spaces outside.
Direct debit memberships include shoe hire and also cover the Dundee centre. Wild Climbers (ages 3 to 6) and NICAS classes run on weekend mornings, and the centre hosts rounds of the North East Winter Bouldering League with Dundee.

“Visited this spot with a mixed-ability group - some total newbies (like me), other regular boulderers. We all had a great time & easier/more challenging routes were available for all ability levels.”
“The staff are very sound; routes updated regularly and prices very reasonable, especially if you're a student. Lots of climbs available so plenty to do when the place gets busy.”
“Good setting changed regularly. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Great value especially monthly pass. … Seating/social/training area is too small.”
