Baudet Climbing is the climbing room of the Centre Sportif Communal Bertrigeois, the municipal sports centre on Rue du Culot in Bertrix, which also has a swimming pool, a fitness room and an athletics track. Its 15-metre wall is for roped climbing. Staff run every session: the room managers lend out the climbing equipment, and the instructor in charge has the final say on the rules.
Visitors climb in open sessions that fit around the children's courses; the times and online booking are linked from the centre's climbing page. You can hire a harness and a belay device, including an assisted-braking one, at the wall, but climbing shoes aren't on the hire list. The house rules ask for clean indoor shoes or socks away from the wall, liquid or ball chalk only, no food or drink in the room apart from water bottles, and a safety distance of 2.5 metres from the climbers. The centre also asks climbers to make sure they are insured against accidents.
Escakids is the centre's climbing course for children aged seven and over, taught by qualified instructors at every level from beginners to experts. Groups climb after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and the 2026-27 season began in September.
