Allez Up Mile End is a bouldering gym run by Allez Up, which has operated climbing gyms in Montréal since 1996. It sits on avenue De Gaspé in the heart of Mile End and offers more than 11,000 sq ft of bouldering walls, split into three sections that include a slab and an overhanging wall, with around 75 problems.
Two training boards, a Kilter Board and a MoonBoard, let climbers create their own problems or try their friends'. A training zone gives space to warm up, train and stretch, with tools aimed at climbers, and the café area serves coffee and snacks, with tables for a break between sessions or for working.
No partner is needed to boulder, and climbing shoes and chalk can be hired. Every climber must sign a waiver, which can be completed online; for under-18s, a parent or legal guardian signs.

“Allez Up Mile End is a beautiful place with high ceilings, thoughtfully set problems, immaculate mats, and enough natural light to make even my flailing look cinematic.”
“The gym is very spacious and has a nice workout/training section… The bouldering area itself is very well set up with great route setting and a good variety of bouldering wall/angles.”
